Sounds like you want to try it yourself, pull the port motor pan, remove shift rod bolt (slotted 3/8 head bolt in front and below the carbs), remove the torque tab, remove the two bolts there, remove the four bolts on the outside of the gear case, remove the gear case, remove the four bolts on the water pump housing, remove the housing, remove the impeller and o-ring.
Install the new impeller with the new o-ring and key, install the pump housing while turning the drive shaft clockwise, push down on the shift rod while turning the prop, install the gear case making sure to get the water tube back in the water pump housing, reinstall all bolts reinstall the shift rod bolt and port motor pan.
Hope this helps.
Get a service manual first and understand the procedure before tearing things apart.
The shift rod adjustment is very critical on the motor and it is easy to turn it when removing or installing the gearcase.
Also use the factory water pump kits as they include all the needed parts. Be sure to use the correct kit, give the motor model number to the parts person. The kits are different between the 20" shaft engines and the 25-30" engines.
