Re: Reed Update (03TritonBill)
I installed the same ones on my 225 opti and my hole shot was slightly better due to better throttle responce and mid range was the big differance. My top speed stayed the same
Re: Reed Update (03TritonBill)
For those of you "outside" of warranty.... we've got some Fiber reeds in testing right now that are showing "promise". They're designed and flowed to PRECISELY match the OEM reeds airflow characteristics. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Glad to hear you got it back together.... and if you had broken reeds previously, you probably have seen a SUBSTANTIAL improvement... even with the Boyeson's. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Re: Reed Update (EuropeanAM)
Don, If I have any future issues with the Boyesen's I'll contact you for the ones you were talking about. I'm interested in hearing about the on the water results when you install some. Please keep us informed as always and thanks again for the great amount of help you provide. If it weren't for this site with it's forums of knowledgeable pros like you, I would know zero about my how my motor is supposed to work or be cared for. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
