Looking for a camera.... Opinions
Guys i've done a lot of reading, and found a lot but here's what I want to know. Im looking to buy a new or used (if i find a good deal) D-SLR. What would be a good camera/lens combination. Looking to spend $500-$600.00. I've found a lot of info on dpreview.com but im looking for person suggestions. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif Also, im looking for something with an auto-focus option, so the wife can use it easily. My main themes of photography will be sunrise and sunsets, nature shots, fishing shots, and general photography. I'd like help narrowing it down to 2-3 cameras and lens combos.

THere should be a nice amount of Used D90's hitting the market with the new D7000 (D90 replacement) hitting the stores as I type. If you can find one, pick one up. Then get an 18-200 VR lens. It's a great all around lens.

The D90 looked like the best option out there used and the more I look the more deals I find.

I'm sure they are a little higher than your price range but there should be some nice ones out there real close to your range. More and more will be hitting the market before you know it. They are an amazing camera.

Steve's right, a used D90 18-200mm combo should make you a very happy camper... http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
