This lens is sick.
I already have the 50mm 1.4G, so now if I can just stomach the price 85mm 1.4G I'll be selling my 24-700mm 2.8, and go to all primes.
Already taken a few test shots at wide open aperture and I'm blown away by what this baby is capable of.
I'll post some pics shortly.

Look forward to seeing them. My crappy little 50mm 1.8 Prime for my canon takes awesome pics so i can see the attraction of primes.

I'd be hard pressed to sell my 24-70. It's a handy lens for "events" and general snapshots, but nothing like that fast glass. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
