Favorite flow for the Arkansas River

Went out to the Maumelle pool yesterday and didn't know which was running faster, the big river or the little maumelle. Just finished tweaking my jackplate (that didn't sound good -- lay off Danny), so I really was more interested in how the ride was than the fishing. Tried to flip some bushes, but it just wasn't happening. I checked the flow at Murray and it was 200,000 cfs! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
It got me to thinking, what's everyone's favorite flow rates for the river? I haven't gotten on the main channel in longer than a month, and that was at Pine Bluff. The only time I've done well doing the jetty thing, the water was in the 40,000s.

I hate the main river when its that fast, the current is bad even on the backs of the jetties. 40 to 70 is about as fast as I like it.

They say the current positions them.

The way I fish, I like it around 40k or slower.

For bass I like it around 50 to 70. If I am going after catfish then I want to be 20 to 40

Have no favorite flow rate....have no interest in fishing the river.

40K IS FINE WITH ME. I HATE FASTER...HAD A NIGHTMARE OF AN EXPERIENCE TRYING TO HELP A FRIEND ON THE RIVER WHEN HE BROKE DOWN DURING A FLOOD YEAR IN THE EARLY 90S. 40-50K is perfect.

The slower the better for me. Like when a slight breeze can blow you upstream.
