Has anyone been in a Tourney where the water is rough? How did the boat perform?
I know what my 21XDC will do when it is windy but the SS is new.

You know why I am asking. You have been on the Ohio when there is a strong Southwest wind http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sick.gif
Yep...it's a GOOD bit better than the 20' Bullet, but not quite as good as the 21' 10'' Bullet.
Paul
Thanks Paul
I found it to take the rough stuff as well as my 21. It didn't handle it the same it was a different kind of ride but it didn't feel bad at all

Paul I pick up my SS around Sept 12 and planning on a 250 ProXS. I am trying to find out which prop to put on it. I have inquired to several people and no one would know better than you I am told since no one has had much seat time in it.. I read your write up when you tested the boat. I just sold my 21XD and it had a 300 XS and the best all around fishing running prop I found out was the 28 Hydromotive. I am a very experienced boat owner and have ran them all on Allisons, Bullets and Gamblers over the years. My 250 will have the Sportmaster and the prop is the last thing I need to buy. I welcome anyones input also. Thanks Dan in Jacksonville.

I'm thinking the SS I drove had a 27txp. Killer hole shot and quick to mid 80's with a torquemaster and 250 proxs. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
if im not mistaken they have a 27 trophy on the demo boats....
The ol Ohio can get to rollin for sure Larry
The prop on the yellow/black 21SS is a 28 Trophy, there are MUCH better props out there.
Paul
One of the guys who drove the boat mentioned how flat the boat run. What would be your recommendation on the first one to try with that thought ?
A Hydromotive should be a good prop for the 21SS

Yes the boat runs very flat. It almost feel like the nose is pointed down. That was the hardest thing to get used to.Lookin at the bow will make you over trim the boat. It does ride better than my 20ft'r http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

+10000 on that.
Oh, and the one I drove had a 27 Trophy Plus on it. Which, coincidentally, is the same prop I have on my 20'/250XS (only mine has been worked by DAH, have no idea what was done to it thought) , and the 21SS pulled so much harder than my boat it was ridiculous. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
