Trim Sending Unit Part Number 03 Optimax

I may need a trim sending unit (analog) for an 03 optimax 225 (ser # ot667018) can someone let me know the part # and approx cost?

Be sure to check the GROUND STRAP at your lower engine mount (port side) as well. If it's damaged, the sender cannot properly complete a "variable resistance circuit" to ground. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

Thanks Don, ill prob be ordering one shortly, the unit is still working but cracked. I also broke off one of the mounting screws in the swivel bracket, can I just drill and tap a this bracket and not impact anything?

You should be able to drill and tap the remains of the old bolt.

Keep in mind- you're drilling STAINLESS STEEL. You will need to center-punch the old bolt, and ABSOLUTELY must use a bit that is HARDER than stainless. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
