Guys I have two issues that I hope someone might be able to help with.
1. My detwiler hydro plate was run completely up and now it will not come down, the motor runs, but the plate won't move.
2. I'm missing some type of washers or something on my seastar install that leaves about 3/4" of slack in the rod or tube that goes through the mid. Any ideas where to get them and what exactly they are?

Joe, I'm guessing the Detwiler you have turned all power of then back on to reset it?? Sounds like you will have to get a hold of the Detwiler gang.. Have any model or serial# you can find on the unit ready..

Thanks Lou, I will call them tomorrow. I've turned the power off with the switch, I would think that would do it??????
let me know what your missing on the steering I may have some of the washers and spacers if I do they are yours

Joe, is that happening using the dial???

I finallt got rid of the dial and control board. Now i just use the blinker style switch...Never a problem again!!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
Thanks guys, I called detwiler and they were very helpful, got it fixed! Needed a 'reset' by unplugging from power and then a little fluid and we are moving http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif
