Not sure if clarus has a lifetime warranty. Anyway, I broke 3 Shimano rods and the last, from the day I mailed it I had a new rod at my door in one week. I don't think I will buy another kind of rod. Cumaras are expensive but
they are awesome and customer service is ridiculously good.
