Didn't catch many today but did catch a few good fish in Verret.

We only managed 9 fish today but 6 of the 9 were keepers. Here are pics of 2 of the good fish from today.
Once the skies cleared and the wind started blowing hard we didn't catch another fish.

I almost talked myself out of going also but glad I didn't even though it seemed to get colder as the day went on. This morning was overcast and wasn't real bad but once the sky cleared and wind started blowing 20+ it got cold.. Also, so did the fishing.. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

Nice fish. If ya catching, ya don't seem to notice the cold, at least that's my experience. I freeze!!

Lake Verret: Bayou Sherman/Chermie

what do y'all think about bass fishing in lake verret this wednesday it is suposed to warm up a little. are they moving up to spawning areas yet THANKS GUYS

We caught all our fish in the middle of canals not at the deadends and they were off the bank in 3-5' of water. Verret is finally starting to fish and look like it did before Hurricane Andrew I hope the hurricanes stay away. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif

We went yesterday scouting for our tournament this coming Sunday and it was cold and tough. We had 5 keepers no weight though. All makes I think this cold weather pushed them females back down.
