Yes it has been weird the last few months. The bite has been good the day after the front, from what I have been hearing. Nice fish.

we also did pretty well on saturday morning from about 8-12. Was going out to play some more with my Hummingbird unit and ended up on a good bite.

Actually this was on a double x. Had a limit in the boat and figured I would give it some time pitching to an outside grass line and 2nd fish caught with it was a 3lber.. Its a little smaller than a baby brush hog with a little different profile. Good for high pressure when the bite is tough. The swim jig put a few in the boat also.
bite been tuff for me,good job.
I've been doing surprising well lately, including yesterday..Logan has been clue-ing me in on what to use and when to throw it. I like having a grandson who fishes!

Man I need some flying squirrels or I just need to sell my boat. I finally got to go fishing after 4 monthblotted feeding and changing diapers. I was at the same place you were and didn't have a bite all morning. The water was so low. Happy to see you did good. Ha Ha.. I assume you know Ben being you know the nickname I gave those baits and you were in the same spot. You are right the water was very low and you had to hold on tight and stay on plane to get back there but all the way to the end dropped down to 4ft and they were there.
