Re: South Toledo Bend (lightfoot)
To me I don't know you, but the weather was nice.
Was not too hot or too cold it was just right.
Do love the jelly worms I just ran out of them didn't think of dieing the tail red.
Re: South Toledo Bend (jlsch1)
I wore them out saturday afternoon 3-5:30 on a little hump off of an unmarked roadbed. 30-40 on the biggest H2O crankbait, blue back/charturse side, orange throat. Today only 5 wanted the big crankbait, but 20 others wanted a redbug worm. All caught out of the kayak in San Miguel.
Friday afternoon late, caught maybe 20 on DD14 not far from Big Bass.
Didn't tear anything up except my thumb!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif

If we don't get any rain to speak of soon, a kayak or pirogue is all anybody will be able to use. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
Re: South Toledo Bend (Mike_z71)
I was joking with my neighbor about hitting things underwater with the kayak leaving the cove. It's sad to see it so low.

Re: South Toledo Bend (RonnieF)
If they don't get any rain up you probably could hit the bottom of your kayak leaving the cove.
Re: South Toledo Bend (jlsch1)
At least i could use a ladder to finish running a water line to my fish cleaning station. I had to cut the grass first!! I"m not sure if i can throw fish carcasses far enough to hit the water though!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
I"ll post some pics tomorrow.
