Yes, we went this morning. It was only cold after I left my house though. The news said it was 25 to 28 degrees. Cudos to Lakesport90 for even meeting me on a day that was that cold. Wish we could have done better. We only caught a few.

Beleive me it was cold. We should have taken a picture of my helment. I looked like DarthVader, but it kept the wind out while we were running.

Better to be cold on the water than cold at work. Looks like I will be gone about another 10 days then maybe I can get my boat out.
We caught what you see in the pics, and yes we did go to the SPOT, and the water was from 39.8 to 43.5 degrees back in there. Out along the I55 corridor where we made a few stops the water in places was 49. Nothing over 50 degrees. We ran over to the Ruddock Canal that empties into Lake Mourapas to try there, and the water there was only in the mid 40's.
i went today...water in the main canal got 50.2... in the ditch going into your "spot", it was measuring 47-ish....i didnt get to ruddock till noon( i was on north pass at daybreak till 1130, couldnt buy a bite, so took out and went and launched at ruddock to explore)..... i cant believe the water is so low ... i managed 4 lil dinks...shoulda been 5......
