2" spacers

Yeah I know but believe it r not that aluminum is quite expensive. I didn't price it but I asked our welder about some aluminum he has and he told me it's not cheap. When I go back to work I will get him to price what I need. I have grand jury the next three days.

I know I can make them. It's just to get the aluminum.

Make sure you get the right grade aluminum or it could be too soft or too brittle. Either would not be good.

Bump do u know what grade aluminum they make them out of?

The 2" set is only 109 with the S.S. Bolt kit.

Since you work at a machine shop why not just make them from stainless steel which is stronger than aluminum? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif

Moe for what they cost just go buy you some.The aluminum you get in teh machine shop is not the grade you want to make spacers with.Its got to be marine grade or aircraft grade aluminum.For $100 its worth getting you a set and be done with it.You may be able to find a second hand set for around $60..I'll look around..
