New Shotgun

So beings I don't have a shotgun that shoots 3" shells I'm opting to buy one in the near future. What's everybody like. Thinking about a pump but not set on it. May go with an auto. Just for reference Academy has a Binelli pump that shoots both 3 and 3 1/2 for around $400. For about 200 more you can get a Franchi 912. Its an auto that shoots 3 1/2s. Dicks has them renamed as a Benelli Diamond but it is the same gun. That is the cheapest quality gun I have seen that shoots the 3 1/2s. I have a franchi I-12 and it is super nice just doesnt shoot 3 1/2s so last year after christmas I bought the new browning maxus and love it. If you are looking for a really cheap auto that shoots 3 1/2s you can look at the remington spr453. Its imported from russia and only costs about $450. I havent seen many reviews on them so I dont know how good they are. Charles Daly also makes a maxi mag in auto and pump that are relatively cheap too. Let us know what you end up getting.

Jeff I found the Benelli Super Nova on sale at Simmons in Bastrop a few yrs ago for 299. Dont think you will find a one for that cheap, but they do go on sale occasionally. I dont take care of my guns that much so I wasnt spending alot, and I like pumps anyway so I jumped on it. Got the all black with synthetics. I thought it was heavy at first compared to my other gun, but after using it a couple yrs I really like the gun and its not heavy at all. My other gun was just real light. You want be disappointed if thats the gun.

go with benelli and you wont turn back. I had a remington 11-87 then i went to a supernova 3.5" now i have a the vinci. Remingtons good.................but not good enough

On another note...How do you like the Vinci?? My step dad is the head of the gun department at TP Outdoors and he said its the real deal...I haven't got to shoot one yet...

Tim, I am being totaly honest and not saying just because i own one, but its the real deal. takes 10 secons to put together(if you want to take it apart) shoots awsome and its fast and kicks like a 410!!! I love it....

I think i may keep my benelli pump, its my only 3.5" gun so, i may keep it unless i get offered enough money for it

Man I love my browning gold, but that baretta is a sweet shooting gun...its lighter than that browning

2 years ago at G&H in Gueydan I found a Browning Gold 26" for $650.00 and I kicked myself in the a$$ for not grabbing it up.

mike if u want a silver i have one if u might wanta buy it it has been shot about fifty times.

I'll keep that in mind. I've been saying I'm gonna buy a new gun for about 2 years now. Seems like other things pop up to take my $$

thats cool....i just have my SBE so thats why i dont use it
