Re: Jefferson's Comment! (fishnhunt)
Nice article. Apparently the idgit cant count if he thinks they are both putting points on the board. The numbers are so lop sided it would take a fool to let him play. Unfortunately, we have a fool running the show! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
Re: Jefferson's Comment! (fishnhunt)
Damn wake up Jordan..I wonder if Miles coaches them on what to say.Thats exactly what he would say.

You know it. He was prob pissed that Lee said he wants to start!
Re: Jefferson's Comment! (fishnhunt)
When JJ comes off the field he sits alone on one corner of the bench and looks down at the ground. Lee is always on the sideline with a clipboard or headphones on keeping up with the game and always ready to go. I don't know why the even interview anymore..
Re: Jefferson's Comment! (JOHN202)
I heard Jefferson is dating Mile's daughter!! That's jst what someone told me!! They were seen somewhere together...
Re: Jefferson's Comment! (droptine)
Sounds like a good rumor, but it sure would make alot of sense http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif
Re: Jefferson's Comment! (jigginjeff)
She needs to go after Peterson, at least he will be going pro.
Re: Jefferson's Comment! (Bada$$Bullet)
But isnt Mile's kids young?? Like junior high!! I don't know!!

umm.. look at the stats... Lee has only thrown for 2 touchdowns... the same as Jefferson, and Jefferson has run it in 4 times... Lee has 0.
So as far as actual touchdowns, Jefferson scores 3 times as much.
Jefferson is also the second leading rusher on the team, even if you take away the 80 yard long run.
I'm not saying that Lee doesn't move the ball down the field more, because he does, all I am saying is that it's not as lopsided as you think.

Re: Jefferson's Comment! (barchief)
Lets talk about points, cause thats what matters. Did you read the article? In the last 2 games Lee started 11 drives and 8 ended in touchdowns. Yea they put Jefferson in with two yards left but Im pretty sure we could go 2 more yard without him. Jefferson started 12 drives resulting in 7 punts, 3 field goals, one fumble by Jefferson and one interseption. 0 touchdowns http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Lee doesnt run, but thats what Ridley is for. Twist the numbers if you want and put up the season stats when Lee hasnt even played the whole season. Pretty lopsided to me! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif

yes.. I read the article, but I'm not too sure how accurate it is, as I found some contradictory information..
From the article..
"To take the comparison a step further, Lee has been in for the only five touchdown drives (again one cumulating in a run by Jefferson) that have gone for 50 yards or more."
but the article also says....
"Jefferson hasn't thrown a touchdown pass this season since that 51-yarder to Randle, his second of the game against UNC"
so, which is it?? has he not had a 50+ yard drive or hasn't he?
Re: Jefferson's Comment! (jigginjeff)
A good QB is throw first then run after..Not look at one receiver and see he's not open then take off...
Miles style offense is stupid and thats why LSU will have so many talented players underated by the time they graduate.
Ridley is making a name for himself without the help of Les the Mess

Thats not contradictory. You miss read. Its telling you one of Lee's 50 plus yard touchdown drives ended with Jefferson running it in. They are trying to give Jefferson his due credit for the 2 yds. Remember them puttin him in with a couple yards left. Thats what I was refering to in my first post. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
So like it says, no he hasnt.

I can't believe that I am defending Les Miles, but there have been 19 players from LSU drafted in the past 3 years and 31 the past 5 years.
The only school with more since 2006 (Miles first year) is USC with 44.
Florida has 26
Ohio State is tied with LSU wih 31
Oklahoma has 25
Alabama has 19
Penn state has 25
Texas has 25
There is one thing that is abundantly clear... they are not underrated by the time they leave (notice I didn't say graduate)

What aren't you seeing??????? Jefferson THREW a 51 yard touchdown pass in the UNC game... THEREFORE... he had a drive that was longer than 50 yards... the author of the article stated ....
"To take the comparison a step further, Lee has been in for the only five touchdown drives (again one cumulating in a run by Jefferson) that have gone for 50 yards or more."
He is saying that Lee is responsible for the only long drives that went for 50+ yards..
OH.... I almost forgot... technicaly, the 80+ yard run is considered a scoring drive... so JJ has two.

Sorry man, I hate it too but those stats are right.

Re: Jefferson's Comment! (jigginjeff)
and as far as NFL rosters..
Here is the breakdown from 2010 opening day in the NFL
40 Texas
38 Miami
36 USC
35 LSU
34 Ohio State
33 Florida
33 Georgia
33 Tennessee
31 California
29 Michigan
Oh.. and LSU has the most running backs in the NFL with 5, Florida and Ohio State have the most WR's. Kinda tells ya that LSU is a running team.
