Need some help on fuel line sizes??
I am going to replace my fuel lines on on 2002 yamaha v-max 150. Well I called yamaha and they said that they use 5/16" line to the motor.
I have used the search option on here and there is nothing specific to my engine. however, everything I have read said 3/8" on any engine 150hp and up....I am confused on what size to buy?? the fitting on my fuel pump is 5/16"....so should I replace the fitting on my fuel pump to 3/8" and run 3/8" to my fuel pump per other peoples responses?? OR should I stick with the 5/16" line?? I have no idea?

3/8" throughout, this way you know for sure you are not starving your engine for fuel.
