Well about 3 weeks ago I posted on here a picture of a big sow hog.....well for the past 3 weeks I have not got a SINGLE picture of a deer since the hog. I have getting nothing put HOGS. and it is the same 2! I get around 36 pics of them every week and no deer. I was getting deer steady until they showed up!! I am pissed and they are only coming out at night! 8 pm to about 2am. I am venting....thanks http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif

My camera was out two weeks. Had one 6 pointer and a group of four does come out almost everyday. And a bunch of hogs. We are trying something different this year and seems to be working. We are only feeding in the morning. The feeder goes off about 7 am and the deer and hogs feed. There is no corn for them to get at night.

I dont mind feeding them at night....I only throuw 3 sec once hunting season starts Ima put it on 4 or 5...my only concern is that the deer are not using the feeder anymore since the hogs have found it..like they are scared of it....when I got my camera yesterday, they had corn on the ground from it going off that morning, so the feed is there for the deer.....I just havent got a deer since the hogs started showing up....John, you are getting deer and hogs at the same feeder??
Don't know about John, but I have three cameras out and have deer and hogs comint out, not at the same time. Another club member had two weeks of hogs and no deer.

Dude, I hate to tell you if the hogs move in. You better move out! Especially if your acreage isn't big. Them will eat up everything that can be eaten. Whatever deer you have on camera. You may as well make a movie with it. Cause you will not see then no mo! I will loan you a good piece of advice. Not spend your whole season on this particular area. It being productive with hogs visiting the feed will not be too productive for you. But I have also seen some stranger things happen likewise.

It's illegal to hunt over corn too
those hogs are about 180 lbs

Look like dey may be pushin 200 lbs!! Usually when hogs come into an area there ends up being more than just a few!! If you are in a place that does not have alot of deer then when the hogs move in the deer r moving to another place!! Hogs moved in on a place that I have hunted since I was a kid!! We have alot of deer on that place so it really didnt affect our deer hunting too much!! The hogs were mostly all nite time pics!! When the hogs were in the feed the deer were gone but when the hogs moved to someone elses feeder the deer came in!! They jst stayed away from one another!! But there is no getting rid of them once they move in on a place!! Have yall had hog sightings before?? If not, u need to do what ya can to kill them 2 there!! ONE EYED DOG usuallly works!!

it is only 60ish ac. IT is all cutover though...you can see how thick it is in the pictures...I saw sign of them about 2yrs ago, but did really hunt the place. this will be my first yr to hunt it hard. this spring they torn my grandpas garden up which is about 800 yrds from the pic on the other side of the cutover, so I suspect there are more then just those two....but they are definately living close to that feeder bc I am getting them regularly. Might set up trap up...I just hate making all that noise/ect so close to bow season, being it is all cutover and I am limited to my areas to hunt...I know that place is loaded with deer, because it is 7yr cutover and thick as chit aka bedding.... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
