Question about Shreveport
Well the company I work for has an opening in Shreveport and I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas/advice about that area. I live in Hot Springs AR and I love it here BUT have always thought about living in LA so if anyone in that area could tell me a little about it please.
Thanks
Steve

I know Bossier is really growing fast and there is a lot of infrastructure going up mostly from the booming oilfield
Re: Question about Shreveport (oiltech09)
A good friend of mine used to live in Mansfield just south of SP,he have a real nice place in the country.
Re: Question about Shreveport (JOHN202)
Send an IM to Badazztriton. Aaron lives there and can fill you in. My brother lives just south of Shreveport in Stonewall. Lots of good places to fish there and as long as you get out of Shreveport-either north around Benton or south toward Stonewall or other outlying areas I think you will be good to go.
Re: Question about Shreveport (preacher ed)
I have lots of family there. Thats where i attended the police academy. Find a place in Bossier City. Shreveport is the new gang-land in the state.

Thanks so much guys I really appreciate it http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
another question about that area also. What is the Deer hunting in that area like? alot of public land or is it mostly leases?
Re: Question about Shreveport (BigSteve1967)
Most of it will be leased land, but I don't think it is too hard to find a lease. There is some really good deer hunting in that part of the state though. There are a couple of WMA's near Shreveport that has some fairly good hunting on them I think.
Re: Question about Shreveport (BigSteve1967)
I kill a limit of Deer on Public land every year! You got all you want down here BUBBA!
