Thinking about staying close to B.R this weekend just in case the lweather gets bad. Would like to go to Old River, False River. Has anyone been lately and do you know what the water's looking llike? High, low, muddy, clear?
Or either going to the spillway out of sorrell, pigieon, or Doirons. what's the water level looking like here and has anyone heard of any good fishing there lately?

not if you go to south end of the lake also hear they were catching a few in their, better hurry because there no catch and release happening. go early if you go because the landing are full by sunrise just what i was told
Oh wow! Well I had planned on taking my wife. I highly doubt she will want to get up at 4 am to go fishing. I might just hit up a local pond by my house. Gotta see what the weather will be looking like.

Yeah, I was just passing through last week on the way to Lake Charles. Saw some good looking water. Might have to give that a try.
