Crawfish

A group of friends of mine are getting together Saturday and boiling some crawfish. Is there any place yall would recommend getting the crawfish from that has good prices? It needs to be somewhere fairly close so I don't have to drive too far to pick them up. Also if any of you have any good recipes, let's hear them!

2 bottles crytal hot sauce, box and a half of salt, bag of chackbay seasoning, 8oz bottle of liquid craw boil, 12 lemons. good for a sack of crawfish. if you have another sace, just add half of all the seasonings for that next sack http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Therein lies the problem. Crawfish were sky high last week. Should be alot cheaper by now, but I don't know.

Price dropped to $1.25 to the fishermen yesterday...should be able to pick them up for around $1.75, maybe $1.50 depending on where you go...

Chackbay or Louisiana crab boil powder.....small container of garlic powder.....6 onions cut in half....8 lemons cut in half....box of salt....

Bring water to a boil while adding all of the stuff........dump the crawfish in and bring back to a boil. Boil 7 minutes and shut off fire. Spray cold water in pot for 15-20 seconds. Stir and taste test until done. If they are not spicy enough, let them sit a few minutes longer.
