I am getting between 15-17 at 5700 rpms turning a 28 raker
water pressure is good, but you should be able to turn another 300-400 rpms. I would think there is more speed there.
looking for more speed but do not want to push water pressuer, can i go up on jp some to get more rpm?
How for below the pad are you running?
i don't know be low pad , but 5'' to 5 1/4" above transom
I think you might want to raise it a 1'4 inch at a time but I wouldn't let the H2O pressure get below 12

You really need to get a few more rpms. That should be a 74 mph boat. Hopefully you can raise your engine some more. Raise it till you loose pressure then drop back 1/4". The Tritons are supposed to be easier to drive (less chine walk) with the engine higher. Also look at where the weight is distributed in your boat move anything heavy (tackle can be heavy If you carry as much as me) as far towards the back of the boat as possible. Good luck, RR
I wouldn't wanna go any lower than what he is on wp. I would look for another way to get the R's up. JMHO
Water pressure is close, dont go below 10, 15 would be better, right around 10 you will get a hot light and horn.
You need to get the RPM's up closer to 5800 but not over.
My water pressure was running at 15 until I started raising the jackplate, I've got it set up properly now and I read 12 psi. It has been fine at that.
