Just bought me a new toy

Was looking for an upgrade of a small portion from the electronics I have now. Todays technology is amazing. I wanted the HDS10 from Lowrance, the boss said not for that price http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
We settled on the HDS5. It is a far cry from the unit (trotline wieght) I have mounted in the dash right now.
does anyone have any experience with this HDS5 unit. The simulated version we looked at has some amazing abilities

I have had one for a while now. For fishing around here it is no different than the older units. I fished Toledo Bend with it and it's pretty sweet there. Also if you have a motor that is smartcraft capable you can get alot of info to your unit. The clarity of the depthfinder is awesome too
