your not alone!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif i would much rather fish a lighter weight when fishing plastics, but depending on wind and current i often need a heavier weight. and i hate to stop and rig up every time conditions change. now ya know that there's at least 2 of us http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

Re: Bullet weights or not (Thefisherman64)
Not at all. I have 3. One wacky one weightless and one weighted
Re: Bullet weights or not (21 XD)
I use a zoom superhog, on four rods all under different weights
Re: Bullet weights or not (doublem5148)
Nope you not alone...I have one set up weight less and 2 set up with different size bullet weights.
Re: Bullet weights or not (Thefisherman64)
No you are not alone. though I dont agree lighter is usually better. I find when the bite is tough I can go to a heavy weight with a fast fall and trigger a reaction bite alot of time.Quess thats why i have 4 rigged from weightless to 1oz.
Re: Bullet weights or not (Thefisherman64)
No your not alone. There has been times when i would have 3 rods, same bait, one with a bullet, one with no weight, and one with a split shot placed a few inches above the bait.I would use the three until i found the best one for that day on the water.

Not alone. A person would be foolish to think that one certain weight would work for most conditions. I use several different weights per day, depending on depth, current, wind, distance, etc. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif
