Hope everybody is ok after Ike's visit. All we did was lost power, which is normal around here, especially on a Friday night, happens just about every week http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif

Got pretty Damn Nasty here last night and this morning. Only had to run the generator a few hours before we got power back up. Still a lot of people around here w/ no power.
I've got the family and all of our pets piled up in my 5th wheel in Livingston. All we got was a few flickers in the power here, but we did get some light damage to the house we evacuated from in League City. It sounds like just some minor roof damage and the fence. I hope my boat shed held together. At least there aren't any big trees around my property there, so it's not a total loss like my house in Livingston. I'm hearing reports of a lot of major damage around Baytown, Seabrook, Kemah, etc.
If you need help with anything in livingston let me know and i'll send you an im with my numbers.
Thanks for the offer Doug. We finally got an insurance adjuster out to look at the house yesterday, then we loaded up with my generator and all the ice and fuel I could haul and headed back to Texas. I'm back at work today in Baytown.
Do you know any good contractors in that area? All of my family and friends around there have pretty much built their own homes. I need to find a contractor who can start to remove the worst of the damage and get a better idea of the extent of structural damage. The adjuster is working on an estimate, based on what is visible without removing anything, but I also need estimates from at least one contractor to compare with the adjuster's estimate and start the negotiation process.
