I've been looking and not ready to buy yet, but, How good does the new side imaging work in the muddy waters down here. I would be looking for the best thing I can get to see the botttom. Just looking for some opinions here and I probably won't buy anything for a while but I want to know what I'm looking for. Maybe side imaging isn't best???
From what I've seen and read, SI is the greatest invention since the feminine napkin! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif Since it's sonar, muddy water doesn't effect it. They are nice, just a little too pricey for me for the side imagining, but I will say this Jeff, whatever you buy, go ahead and spend the little extra money and get color units.

Thanks everybody for the info. I guess I'll keep looking for a while. I think I'm gonna have to sell one of my boats for it though. I guess it's time to get rid of something.
