Can anynody point me to where I can get ECU's that are used. I have read in various posts guys are swapping thier stock 225 EFI ECU's for 300x-Spark/250XB-fuel ECU's and getting 30+hp gains. I was looking at pricing for these ECU's on Mercury parts express and the pair is over $1400. Where can I get these cheaper? Thanks...

You can send your ecu's toRapair and they will reprogram them for what you want. I believe they are about $400 each. Here is a link to their websitehttp://cdielectronics.com/
Your looking for a 300 ProMax ignition computer not a 300x which uses a soingle motorola. I have heard that sending your boxes to CDI is a 50/50 chance that it will work the way it is supposed to when you get them back. The used 300 ecu's are hard to find.
