Damn Yote

Just stepped out side to take a leak and i see this yote headed across the field,, grab the 223 out of the truck and run around the corner of the garage .. rest the rifle on the boat motor and he goes over a small rise .. all i can see is his ears http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif so i run down the heage row about 100 yds ,he's 150 yds out there, find a nice tree to rest the rifle on, settle the cross hairs on him and that dirty basterd is eating one of my chickens .. squeezed the trigger and Smack... he goes to spinning and is trying to run off ... he sits down on his ass and kinda rears up when the 2nd round hits him right in the chest.... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif no more chicken dinners for him http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Seen a pack of 3 50yrds off the road on the way in this morning....they must have had lap dog or cat on their menu because they were less than a 100yrds from 5 or 6 houses.....

I think everyone's covered the obvious opportunities in your story, but I have to summarize as these were my thoughts as I read your account....

1. Don't go outside to pee tomorrow or the next day..you'll freeze an icicle to your yingyang.
2. Fat old mad running 100 yds....hmmmm.
3. Where's the chicken in the photo - I think you were just placating those PETA folks!
4. Why'd it go from 150 yd shot to 259, or whatever?
5. You ain't no hawk...don't even try to fly!
