I'll go out for a couple hours and try and catch some crappie in the timber with a buddy from OKC. I'll stay off the local "party" lake though. Apparently there was a collision on it while I was in Florida. Both parties had been drinking! Imagine that. The Local police have a boat and NEVER write citations out there. They are too busy messing with the guys on the bank or the guy in the jonboat who look like they may not have a license. They sit around bs'ing with the locals while people do unsafe chit right before their eyes. They don't mess with the wealthy locals who frequent the lake and get hammered. This is the truth. Not my imagination. I rarely stay on the water after 10 in the morning to avoid the idiots. Have a safe weekend guys and if you brave the water this weekend keep your head on a swivel, wear your PFD's, and use your lanyards.
