Damn thing moved on me after hitting a monster wave. What is the torque on the bolts on the side that you loosen to raise or lower your plate. I have a torque wrench just need the specs. It is the black unit and is a 10 inch plate.
Thanks.

1/2" Diameter hardware on an aluminum jackplate will almost always torque to 80-90 ft. lbs. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Thank you Don. You the man. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
One thing I allways do to help prevent a manual jackplate from moving is if you lower your jackplate go 1/8" lower than you want to set it at then jack it back up to put tension on the jacking bolt. Then tighten the bolts on the side. I have never had one move doing this.
Great idea. I will do that.
Thanks..
