Re: MSTA Willy, Larry? (Hydrilla Gorilla)
Didn't win the boat but ohwell....Ran way up the Little Platte looking for a 16+ lb bag but never found them. We swung for the fences and went down sing......Rick Wilson with 18+ took home the new Stratos........The back seater also won a new boat in only his second year of tournamnet fishing.........
My goal is always to make the fishoff during the year then swing for the fences......Best news of the day was I drew out boat 6 for next year which should help some since most of my stuff is community stuff http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
MSTA is a great circuit...with a unique format, good payouts, and a great bunck of folks running it.

Me & the partner had 2 fish, his (my 1 was 15.9999"). He caught a 5.17lb about 20 minutes before weigh in and that got him a check.
I did win a nice free tee shirt and a free lunch though....... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

All I could scrounge up was 3 keepers, and it took all day one every 2 1/2 hours or so, very slow day. Burtons Championship is next week and Skeeter open tourney is the week after that, maybe I can cash in on something in the next couple of weeks. Better luck next year on the boat I guess, it is hard enough just to qualify for the championship, so I guess that is something to be proud of.

Just like Larry I ran up the little platte as well trying to get a flipping bite...came back to the main lake with a couple hours to go and caught two keepers rigth away...probably should of done that earlier in the day. Oh well...had a good year during my rookie season.
