Don,New motor breakin time

hey Don..could you tell me when I can WOT my 250 Pro XS?..I've got 4 plus hours on her...was told that 2 hours were breakin..after four I could WOT(I have about 4 hours and 40 minutes or so)..have done that (wot) about 4 times for about 2-3 minute burst...all seems ok..noticed 5540 to 5580 was constant and a 5610 was max,once....66.4 MPH was my max top end,mainly 65 plus mph..was askin on the props page for a possible prop change to achieve a higher rpm for max performance..Mark stated I need to get a few more hours on her to see rpm increase with my 25 tempest plus..boat is loaded(fuel,tackle,2 men,etc..)..thanks in advance,Jim. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

You can use full throttle now- just avoid holding a "steady RPM" for more than a few minutes (vary RPM's occassionally).
