You talking about Toronto Reservoir? If so you need to to be fishing up in walnut creek. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Either the creek or the river are much better to fish.
Were you after crappie? I have some friends that want me to fish for bass there too. They have sworn they catch good bass in the creek and river. Just have to have a small boat and a four wheel drive PU.
Re: abput my trip to Toronto (jbassman87)
Toronto!! There's no crappie there.
If the water level is not near normal pool, it's hard to catch crappie. If it has rained any at all, the lake looks like you could dip your hand in the water and pull out a teaspoon of mud. The creek is about your only option then. It can be one of the best places to catch crappie if you can catch it when the water isn't high, low, or real muddy. { which is rare.}
Re: abput my trip to Toronto (cash4oldlures)
Well, I got to see a beautiful lake ------
I fish crappie most of the time ---- except on Wolf Creek where I fish for anything that bites!!!!!!!
One thing I learned on Wednesday at Toronto --------- If you put a picnic basket in the boat, and get a good boat ride ----------- you could call it a picnic and not felt so bad that you didn't cqtch any fish!!!!!!!
