I read about it myself late yesterday - I was afraid it would happen after InBev purchased AB. Truly sucks!! This is a quote from the article on nhra.com

I'm no marketing genius, but my guess is this decision will cost them a LOT of $$$$ in lost revenue. this has been in the works since INBEV(sp) took them over......I beleibve they were only upholding the contract until renewakl......I beleive you'll be seeing a lot of this coming down the pipe from them as well.

I think that with the economy like it is you will see alot of sponsorships going down the tubes. Since my sales at work started declining I can say I haven't bought a case of beer or a bottle of bourbon in about 3 months. I can't imagine I am alone in this and it has to be showing on their sales reports as well.
