I just read on another forum that a 19 year old goose hunter was shot in the chest and killed this morning.
Apparantly him and a friend were hunting a field when a pick up truck stopped on the road and fired a shot from a rifle. The round struck him in the chest and he was dead within minutes.
Prayers go out to this young mans family and friends. Horrible thing to have happen.

It was in Lyons county.
