I don't know of any guides, but Mike Souza on the BBC fishes it quite often and may be able to help you out.

yah, i was culling thru the 14 inchers and i grabed my biggest about a 2-21/4 lber to get it out of the way. i was holding a 14 incher and that one when the bigger one flipped out of my hands and on to the deck. i tried to get it but the damn thing wanted back into the lake worse than i wanted to get fin stuck. i think that 14 incher made the ride to red river south.
Chit Happens....I admit when Dport told me about it, I got a pretty good laugh.
like it mattered, caught 20 or so keepers and had 8 lbs wowho!
