I've had both rods in the IMX series and like both. The med/hev is the most versatile, but I really, really liked the heavy too. Both are awesome.

I own a MH in an IMX and had a H in the GLX. Both are great rods, but I wouldn't build either on the GL2 blank. The H is not much heavier in weight but is more stout.. What do yo intend to use them for? I use the MH for Senkos, tubes, and light jigs where there is little vegetation or weeds. I like the H for heavier cover. If I had to choose one I would go with the MH. If I was going to build the H I would go with a 7' blank. JMO
