What kind of problems r u having
taking off slow and cranking battery not getting charge , put new battery,fuel filters, plugs,and both voltage regulators and fuel lines still same problem
if the vr were fryed then they got hot so did stator you can test stator low and high side
i dont know what wires to check and what to look for. i am a diesel tech i know how to check voltage and amps, just not on a outboard,and killing not being able to figure it out
its only a ohm test, were the reg. burnt or melted, how about the connections fron stator to regs. i would check the timing base make sure its advancing the timing, how does it run after take off. also rember this heat and fuel quality will slow them way down right now. i think u can google the test for the stator. need more info, not a expert but have had my share of problems and repairs
your biggest friend is a merc manual it says how to test every part of that motor well worth the money times 100. it says in there how to test stator did mine would have to type alot to tell you but saved me lots of shop time by the hour already.

I got the parts ordered ,waiting for them to come in !
Got all my parts in ,just finished installing, charging batteries and going give it a shot.
put all my parts and engine sounds like its running 3 cylinders is possible i put power pacs to the wrong sides of the firing order
What exactly did you replace......
stator, voltage regulators, power pacs, know im not getting fire from passenger side cylinders, swapp power pacs to see if problem would move to other side no change still no fire on passenger side
Not that I am a mechanic, or have a real good knowledge of electrical parts, but I did replace my stator about two months ago. It sounds like you did not make proper connections from the stator, thus only giving one side fire.
Just a guess. Stator should have come with instructions, long yellow wires, short yellow wires, etc.
