i have a 95 black max xri 150, when on the muffs water is steaming hot, when i get it out on the water i have a steady stream, psi goes up so its getting water(i dont know what it should be at 4000 rpm) i might run about 4 miles and the temp gauge goes to about 90% to the H on my gauge. had it tuned up this spring and guy said everything looked good and it popped fine. any ideas would be appreciated
1st make sure the gauge your trusting to be accurate is!
If you can aquire a heat temp gun shoot the spot on or near the point the temp sender is and see if the reading your seeing on your gauge is indeed accurate .
How much water pressure are your seeing at idle and WOT ?
I need that info to determine whats going on !

i know it is about 3psi at idle, WOT not sure itll be a few days to check. its on a 95' boat so the gauge may be bad. i dont know enuff about these motors, dont know where the heat sensor is located. what is normal temp, for these engines
