Is your skeg broke Al? If so, how much? Those things look fugly to me....JMHO I'd rather do a real fix and have it welded and reshaped.....
had one on my 200 johnny,it lasted about 2 years and split in half,i think it looked better after i took it off and just cut the skeg straight and repainted.
wouldn't waste my money again.
I'll post a pic of my skeg later when I get home from work ok running like this for about a season and 1/2 and thought I'd take care of it but may leave it alone what's the down side of not repairing or replacing????
here are a couple pics of my skeg been like this for 2 seasons now guess I'll just leave it alone
That's pretty excessive Al. Are you having a lot of torque in the steering? If so I'd have it cut off square and a new piece welded in and install a torque tab on it. JMHO
some torque but not too bad I may have it repaired worried about the seals after it's fixed or should it be ok as long as they don't get it too hot????
You have enough material for a skeg guard or skeg shield. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Would you recomend running one??
