I usually fish it once a year in the spring. Talk about a slugfest!! Great confidence builder for a season. Didn't get to do it this year though. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
I either catch 4-5 lbers or I blank never have figured that lake out yet
I agree it's either the highlight of my year fishing or I blank out. I have a few friends that never catch anything over 2lbs. but catch 15-20 fish everytime.Mkaes me scratch my head lol.
If I was going to Cedar Creek, I would be throwing Jigs or Shakey Head. D&L Jigs in Black/Blue or Wild Thang color with smallie beaver or paca trailers are good choices.
I haven't been in a couple months, but the reports I got a few weeks ago are that it has slowed down some.
Let us know how you do.
I just got back from down there. Take your pick as far as baits go... Shakey heads, cranks, jigs, worms will all work. Caught this one this evening on a c-rig. Pic taken by my 4 year old son from a cell phone http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif .
