Re: Lowrance part needed. (hardestyeric)
Tell him to make sure that teh puck is still wired good to the power wire. My puck quit working this spring. I thought the puck had went bad but it turned out that it just wasn't getting power due to corrosion where it was wired to the power supply.
The new pucks are about $250 now too b/c they don't make the 2000 or 3000 anymore.
Re: Lowrance part needed. (Alliston64)
Alliston is right. Check the connector/fuse inside it. My buddies did the same thing and it turned out some corrosion got on it. filed it off and back in business.
Re: Lowrance part needed. (hardestyeric)
Yes, check the NMEA fuse. It's probably blown.
Re: Lowrance part needed. (arjone01)
Forgive my ignorance, but is that just the fuse on the power line to the puck? Or is there another fuse some place else?
Thanks.
