use dawn dish soap 50/50 dawn and water scrub it in and rinse it off.
Get it right away with water and a towel... Nasty creatures... Dan
My son and I saw between 100-200 of them hovering in a small bay a few weeks ago. I had no idea that there were that many in Kentucky Lake. I knew that some of the bow fishermen shot them below the dam, but I was unaware that so many were in the lake side.
My dad encountered a large asian carp thursday night. He turned his head to keep it from hitting him square in the face, the carp glanced off and took his 350.00 new glasses in the river.
Which lake and whereabouts?
I was going to say don't those jump out of the water and can do some damage? I remember in Minnesota they showed the DNR on the news running boats with large nets in the air and they were catching them on the Mississippi River trying to control the numbers. They can do some pretty serious damage if you run through a school of them and you are not ready.
They most definitely jump out of the water. I was in Poison Creek on the Cannelton pool of the Ohio for maybe 4 hours and had 1 in the boat, 3 more almost in the boat, and I lost count of how many were jumping at the boat as I was idling. I haven't been hit by one yet, but it may just be a matter of time. May start wearing a helmet and pads when I fish.
We try to do our part......

The dead ones are the best kind. Too bad they are up the river this far. I expect they are in Kentucky and Barkley too, we just haven't heard about them yet.
Were trying guys. You're welcome.

I'm afraid trying to control the population with bowfishing, would be like trying to empty the lake with a thimble. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sick.gif Dman things should have not been allowed in the country.
So what do you do with them now?
Throw em in a sinkhole and cover um up. Landfills, turtle farms, hog farms will take em.
