DH Sat. 1/24

Team old coots hit the Hollow Saturday, to nice of weather to say inside.
Got to put some faces with names as well. Meet Brad Preece (Bassinbrad) & Duane Harper on the water....nice chatting with both of you and hope you did better than we did.
John and I only managed to boat 4 fish. John got two SM with one being a quick release as he ATTEMPTED to swing it on board http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif All I managed was two nice LM both on the same spot within 15 min. of each other.
Lake did not have near as much traffic as you would expect to be on a Sat.
Water temp has jumped from low 40's to the high 40's due to all the recent rain.
Fish where caught at the mouths of creeks where bait fish where present.
We tried the F&F with no luck so stuck to the jig.

We weighted one of the SM and he was 5# even other one was about the same size.

The one John tried to swing on board looked to be a keeper and was a little bit bigger than this one, but we will never know for sure.

Jarred - we don't get too picky when it comes to color of fish !! Guess you could say they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We ended up with 11 on Sat. Caught em from channel bluffs to the back of the pockets with fresh water coming into them. Biggest for us was around 4. Nothing worth braggin about.
Today was the day for sure out there. Lake jumped ALOT overnight and the fish followed in the water column http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

I think you're right about the blood pressure meds though! It was 30* here last Sunday and I fished the banks of the Grand in a vest and hoodie.
