Where Do I have to go to find grass on KY Lake???

Hey Guys. I have been struggling pretty bad here lately on KY. I have a two Day Classic Coming up this weekend. The only thing I have not tried is grass. I have been fishing mostly above the 68-80 Bridge and that bite has went south for me. How far south do I have to go to find grass? I will be able to practice Friday. you don't have to go far there is grass or was starting about turkey all the way down to new johnsonville on the east side.. know some bays don't have as much as others but most have some ! I must be looking in the wrong places. The only grass I found on Ky Lake this year was growing on the bank. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif

There hasnt been nearly as much as in the past two years. But there is some and most of it that I have found was south of the Planding bridge http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Go south of Paris Landing Bridge about 7 miles, you will see some islands down there, there is grass all around those islands but be carefull its shallow when you get out of the channel.

I wish I had the solid answer for you but the grass I was on is dead. That was on the flats around the islands a couple miles north of Paris Landing. Rough across the channel from Panther Bay. I think rodney is right about heading south of paris. Have you found/tried any shell beds on the upstream side of points and islands,preferably at a bend? Those areas really fired up for me when the grass started to die off. The grass was near by but the fish were hanging there schooling and feeding on bait fish.

Good luck and if I was you. I would head as far south as I could get.
