+1,,,,,,,,,There are a lot of old concrete foundations out there with one inch of water on them,,,,,,,,,be very carefull. There is a creek that ziz zags threw the flats, very hard to follow if you don't know where it is. The best white bass fishing will be next to the deep water before you get on the flats very close to the main river.

Growing up in the late 60's, I had buddy who lived on Clough Lake Dr. From his house you could see the willow island. We considered that island ours, camped on, planted rye and winter wheat for the geese, built blinds, sunk brush piles etc. We hated the thought of anyone hunting or fishing our domain, especially if they were from some seemingly far off place like Louisville or Evansville. That was a grand area for teenagers who liked to hunt and fish, especially the LBL side.
There are (were) a number of good white bass spots between the island and the big house.
