250 Etec on a Cougar FTD
Well, reports of the 250 Etec on the Cougar FTD at the last fishing event stands at 79.1 MPH loaded and with 2 people. I set it up to run, what do ya'll think. I've only spent about 20 minutes on the set up. Lake Houston is down so I only have about 600 yards to test. Hole shot is rediculous ! Good ole' Raker 26. Not a Fury, Tempest, Vmax prop!! A RAKER 2!!! Looking for number comparisons. The Merc guys are starting to get scared!! They say it can't be done! Oh yea, I forgot to mention, this is with the Magnum 2 lower unit!! go get um, i'm trying a 250 ho on a ally xb2002, hole shot is very fast !!! Mid range is fast, top end, well working on that. don't be shy to try a bigger prop also. good luck
