Need Help With 175 Fastrike Gasket

1993 175 Fastrike/ Md.#VJ175GLETR
Aparently there's suposse to be a gasket between the flywheel cover and block.
When I took it apart to replace stator and flywheel there was'nt one.The inside of the cover was completly chewed up from the flywheel.Can't find a part# for the gasket.Does anybody have a part #or can I use gasket maker silicone?

No gasket. Check your flywheel bolts for proper torque.

Sounds to me like someone has been leaning on that plastic cover and distorting it, and it's rubbing the flywheel.....

May not be the owner but a biscuit eating tech. None the less a new cover maybe in order.
