I am planning to go on Friday. Deep? Shallow? Please let me know.

They are on fire everywhere. I had my limit in 2 hours last weekend up in the river on Nolin. I've never done that before. It's fun when they're biting like that.

I saw guys catch a limit today in about 1 hour on Ky lake in 12-16 feet of water !!

Yep! That was me.

Got there at 5:40 caught a mess before dark. All shallow. Some slabs in as little as 2-3 ft. I plan on fishing 4 of the next 5 days a filling the freezer.

Next time I see you I will introduce myself ..... my wife and I were coming off the lake in a red and white Ranger ............

I was on the fence about leaving tomorrow night to come down there for the weekend. And you just pushed me off. I'll be out bright and early Saturday.

The biggest were blacks.

I had a couple of blackened filets for lunch. Awesome!

Hope I can capitalize on a little of that bite. Be at the Moors tomorrow afternoon.

I wonder if any of the lakes closer to louisville are on fire? Anybody?

Nolin is going nuts Mike. The water was in the low 50's last weekend and with this weather over the last few days it'll be on like donkey kong this weekend. A few friends fished the Renegade last weekend and they were cracking them pretty good even after that cold front.
