Little help on Cumberland?
I'm down here working at Wolf Creek, and figured it would be a good opportunity for me to get out fishing. I bought a boat about a month ago and have been out a few times. I've spent quite a bit of time trying to get the boat set up, different props, motor height etc., but I have been doing a little fishing too. Is the bite really tough or is it just me doing nothing right? I'm usually standing on ice this time of year punching holes and just trying not to get frost bite. A nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Little help on Cumberland? (CanAm Bassin')
Maybe FlippinDrew will chime in...if anyone seems to have Cumberland figured out it's him. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
I live near the lake but haven't been on the water since early December http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/embarassed.gif so I can't provide any insight on recent patterns. Once the weather warms up just a bit I might be able to help.

Re: Little help on Cumberland? (Fish-N-Fool)
I wish I could help as well but haven't been there since December also. I wouldn't think twice about a drive down to Dale Hollow. There are several on here that fish it regularly. Any inside scoop on the dam repairs?
Re: Little help on Cumberland? (Everlytriton)
Maybe I will head down to DH this Sunday. I'm working inside the powerhouse on the generators so I don't have much info on the dam. I know they still have a lot of work left to do though.

its def. tough! and i was surely off the bite this weekend, but i think that was due to my stubborness. anyways, you can still catch some good fish right now.
